Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in the heart of downtown Hanover, has been family owned by Wilmac Corporation since 1982. We specialize in short term rehabilitation and long-term care offering a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of our residents.

Hanover Hall is a dually licensed/certified Medicare and Medicaid skilled nursing facility serving 150 residents with a variety of short-term rehabilitation or long-term nursing care needs. We contract with most insurances and assist families and residents with the medical assistance process when needed.
We provide employment to over 200 individuals from the greater Hanover Community. Half of our employees have worked here for five years or longer which allows our staff and residents to form long term relationships supporting a person-centered approach to care.
Rehabilitation Services (physical, occupational and speech therapy) are provided to our residents through our valued partnership with Functional Pathways. Our rehabilitation team in conjunction with the rest of the interdisciplinary team works on development of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to help you meet your goals at your pace. Families can keep track of a loved one’s daily progress in therapy through online access to RightTrack™.
Functional Pathways' proprietary software RightTrack™ tracks functional outcomes and communicates patient progress to their loved ones, physicians, and facility staff to ensure excellence in patient care. Therapy staff have advanced training in various treatment modalities through a partnership with Accelerated Care Plus™ (ACP™). ACP's specialized treatment programs combine advanced therapist training with evidence-based clinical protocols and innovative medical technology to provide a higher standard of rehabilitative care.
Our unique Nurse Navigator program provides supportive discharge planning from the day of admission through the day of discharge and beyond. The Nurse Navigator is a Registered Nurse whose primary role is to coordinate all care and services with all your health care providers. The Nurse Navigator will schedule your follow up physician appointments, stay in touch with you after discharge to answer any questions and will work directly with your home care team to ensure that your post discharge care needs are met timely.
Our consultant Pulmonologist provides clinical oversight of our Pulmonary Focused Program in collaboration with the Respiratory Therapist and nursing staff. Our goal is to provide the highest-level quality care to high acuity respiratory patients. Early identification of symptoms paired with quick intervention supports our goal of reducing unnecessary hospitalizations for this high-risk population.
For those residents who are unable to return home, Hanover Hall provides an on-going plan of care based on the individualized care needs of each resident. Services may include specialized dementia programming, nutrition management, wound care, assistance with activities of daily living, and other supportive care depending on the individual needs of the resident. We offer support and guidance to families who are encouraged to be involved in the care needs of their loved ones.
Rehabilitation means reshaping lives and restoring lost abilities after an illness or injury. It means treating the whole patient; physically, emotionally, and socially, and returning them to their optimum level of function for a better quality of life.
The residents at Hanover Hall are assisted in their recovery in a home-like environment by a team of caring and highly qualified rehabilitation professionals.
Our Pulmonary Focused Rehabilitation Program is staffed with a licensed Respiratory Therapist to treat complex respiratory problems including patients with new tracheostomy.
The Pulminary unit is a specialized unit with walled in oxygen and suctioning, as well as a professional staff of therapists to meet the needs of these complex patients to get them to their prior level of function so they can return home.
This program focuses on using Physical and Occupational Therapies to maximize the function of residents recovering from total knee and hip replacement surgery.
For residents recovering from limb amputation, with a direct focus on wound healing, preparations for prosthesis and achieving the most in functional improvement.
Our program offers specialized speech pathology services that enhance a resident’s ability to communicate or swallow safely following a stroke or when affected by brain damage, dementia, oral cancer and Parkinson’s or other diseases
Using trained service animals, our residents are offered emotional support through the used of interaction with a pet. The therapy dog offers emotional healing for our residents.
